Goldfrapp - Alive

The second single from Head First will be 'Alive', and it will be released in June, I think.  The original release date was in May, and it's kind of sad we'll have to wait, but I am sure it will be worth it.  In the meantime, here is the radio edit and the instrumental from the promo disc.  The instrumental on this one is different than the other one posted in the Head First instrumentals edition.

I found this a few days ago at the Goldfrapp forums, and decided to post it here after making the album art you see above.  It's the entire album Head First as instrumentals, but there are some background vocals on some tracks, and it's not high quality - it's about 128 kbps for all nine tracks.  It's listenable, though, especially if you're not an audiophile like me.

Christina Aguilera - Not Myself Tonight

Sorry, I don't have the single artwork on this computer.  Anyway, just a while ago the single "Not Myself Tonight" debuted on Christina's radio station at iHeartRadio.  I used Audacity to record it (it wasn't the first premiere; the song's been playing over and over again).  I tried to edit out the dialog and stuff.  Unfortunately, it is tagged.  It sounds like something from Blackout.  :-/

New Layout

So, I have a new layout.  I was really tired of the old one.  This one was originally supposed to be inspired by the artwork of Madonna's Ray of Light album, but then I saw the artwork for Goldfrapp's Head First (including the background on the Goldfrapp blog, which is absolutely gorgeous, but I wasn't very good at recreating the rainbow effect) and decided to just use this background instead.

I also got another DMCA takedown notice (sigh), so I might just post links in the comments from now on.  This blog isn't even that popular and I'm getting my posts removed and stuff.  Oh well.
